The Law Office of Cheryl Gabes Rice, LLC represents business clients in all aspects of commercial financing transactions.  We routinely assist our business clients in identifying the appropriate type of loan to meet their particular needs  and locating the appropriate source from which to seek financing.  Our work in the commercial finance area includes performing and reviewing due diligence, providing strategic advice on the appropriate structure for a transaction, negotiating the terms and conditions for the deal, reviewing and negotiating loan documents, preparing and assembling all of the borrower's required documents and providing legal opinions.

In addition to traditional financing, our Firm represents borrowers in connection with obtaining loans from various government-sponsored lending sources, including loans guaranteed by the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development (DECD), the Connecticut Green Bank and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).  We also assist business clients in applying for and obtaining a variety of state-sponsored grants.
